Ahadith (Sub Wise)
-:Allah:-
|
1) The best of all the good deeds is to have faith in Allah.
Narrated by: - Hazrat Abu Huraira.
Allah’s messenger said," the best deed is to sincerely believe in Allah and his messenger (Muhammad) ,the next best deed is to participate in jihad (Holy war) in Allah’s cause and the next is to perform hajj mubrur (Pilgrimage to makkah performed with the intention of seeking Allah’s pleasure only and without committing a sin)”.
(Bukhari book 2, chapter 18:Muslim Book Al-Iman, Chapter 34)
2)Remembrance of Allah.
Narrated by: - Hazrat Abu Huraira.
The Prophet said," Allah says, ‘I am same as My slave thinks of Me (as to what I can do for him) and I am with him if he remembers me. If He remembers Me alone, I too, remember him in myself; and if he remembers Me in a group of people, I remember him in a group that is better; and if he comes one span (about 9 inches) nearer to Me, I go one cubit (about 18 inches) nearer to him; and if he comes one cubit nearer to Me, I go a distance of two outstretched arms nearer to him ; and if he comes to Me walking, I go to him running’,”
(Bukhari Book 97,Chapter 15:Muslim book Al-Zikr, Chapter 1)
3) None has the right to be worshipped but Allah.
Narrated by: - Hazrat Anus bin Malik.
Allah’s Messenger told Muadh bin Jabal, “Whosoever testifies sincerely that La ilaha ill-Allah (none has the right to be worshipped but Allah) and Muhammad is His Messenger, Allah will save him from Hell-Fire”.
(Bukhari Book 2,Chapter 18:Muslim book Al-Iman, Chapter 10)
4) To Remember the Names of Allah.
Narrated by :- Hazrat Abu Huraira.
Allah’s Messenger said, “Allah has ninety nine Names, and whoever remember them will enter Paradise.”
(Bukhari Book 54,Chapter 18:Muslim book Al-Zikr, Chapter 2)
5) Love to meet Allah.
Narrated by: - Hazrat Ubada
The prophet said, “Whoever loves to meet Allah, Allah (too) loves to meet him ,and whoever dislikes to meet Allah, Allah (too) Dislikes to meet him.”
(Bukhari Book 55,Chapter 19:Muslim book Al-Wasaya, Chapter 5)
6) Repentance.
Narrated by: - Hazrat Ibn Omar.
Allah’s Messenger said, “Allah will bring a believer near Him and Shelter him with His Screen and ask him: Did you commit such-and-such sins? He will say: yes my Lord. Allah will go on asking him till he confesses all his sins and will think that he is ruined. Allah will say: I did screen your sins in the world and so I forgive them of you today’ and then he will be given the book of his good deeds.
Regarding infidels and hypocrites (their evil acts will be exposed publicly and) the witnesses will say: These are the ones who lied against their Lord .No doubt! The curse of Allah is upon the Zalimin( polytheists, wrong-doers and oppressors etc.)”

7) Allah’s Mercy overcomes His Anger.
a) Narrated by :- Hazrat Abu Huraira.
Allah’s Messenger said, "When Allah completed creation, ‘My Mercy has overcome My Anger’.”
(Bukhari Book 59,Chapter 1:Muslim book Al-Tauba, Chapter 4)
b) Narrated by :- Hazrat Abu Huraira.
Allah’s Messenger said,” Allah has divided Mercy into one hundred parts and He kept ninety –nine parts with Him and sent down one part on the earth, and because of that His creations are merciful to each other, so that even the mare lifts up its hoofs away from its baby, lest it should trample it.”
(Bukhari Book 78,Chapter 19:Muslim book Tauba, Chapter 4)
8) None is more patient than Allah.
Narrated by :- Hazrat Anas Bin Malik.
The Prophet said ,” None is more patient than Allah. Some people even ascribe children to Him, yet He gives them health and sustenance.”
(Bukhari Book 78,Chapter 71:Muslim book Al-Munafiqin, Chapter 9)
9) Only Allah has Absolute Knowledge.
Narrated by: - Hazrat Ubai bin kab.
The Prophet said,” Once the prophet Moses stood up and addressed Bani Israel .He was asked,” Who is the most learned man amongst the people?’ He said,” I am the most learned.’ Allah admonished Moses as he did not attribute absolute knowledge to Him (viz Allah)

10) Only Allah’s Mercy will save people from (Hell) Fire.
a) Narrated by :- Hazrat Abu Huraira.
Allah’s Messenger said,” The deeds of anyone of you will not save you (from Hell-Fire) unless and until Allah bestows His Mercy on you. However, do good deeds properly and sincerely.”
(Bukhari Book 81, Chapter 18: Muslim book Al-Munafiqin, Chapter 17)
b) Narrated by :- Hazrat Aisha
The prophet said, “You should follow the Right Path and do good deeds and have glad tidings of the reward (but remember) one’s deeds will not make him enter Paradise.” He was asked, ‘Even you, O Allah’s Messenger?’ He said, “Even I, unless and until Allah bestows His pardon and His Mercy on me.”
(Bukhari Book 81, Chapter 18: Muslim book Al-Munafiqin, Chapter 4)
11) Allah Mercy is for those who have Fear of Him.
Narrated by: - Hazrat Abu Said.
The prophet said,” Amongst the people preceding your age, there was a man whom Allah had given a lot of money. While he was in his death-bed, he called his sons and said, ‘you have been a good father.’ He said, ‘I die, burnme, crush my body, and scatter the resulting ashes on a windy day’. His sons did accordingly, but Allah gathered his particles and asked, ‘What made you do so?’ He replied, ‘Fear of you.’ So Allah bestowed His mercy upon him.”
(Bukhari Book 60, Chapter 54: Muslim book Tauba, Chapter 4)

-:Prophet:-
1) Expulsion of Adam from Paradise.
Narrated by: - Hazrat Abu Huraira.
The Prophet said," Moses said to Adam, ‘you are our father who disappointed us and turned us out of Paradise. ‘Then Adam said to him,” O Moses! Do you blame me for the action which Allah had written in my fate forty years before my creation?’”(Adam can no longer be blamed after his sin was pardoned by Allah)
(Bukhari Book 82, Chapter 11: Muslim book Al-Qadar, Chapter 2)
2) Jesus will descend again and judge people by the law of the Quran.
Narrated by: - Hazrat Abu Huraiar.
The Prophet said,” How will you feel when the Jesus descends amongst you, and he will judge people by the law of the Quran and not by the law of Gospel?”
Bukhari Book 60, Chapter 18: Muslim book Al-Iman, Chapter 16)
3) Jesus will descend again in this world and follow the Holy Quran.
Narrated by: - Hazrat Abu Huraiar.
The Prophet said, “By Him (Allah) in whose Hands my soul is, surely the son of Mary (Jesus will shortly descend amongst you people as a just ruler. He will break the cross and kill the pigs and abolish the Jizya (a tax taken from the non-Muslim, who are under the protection of the Muslim government. This tax will be abolished as all mankind will embrace Islam). Then the wealth will be in abundance and no body will accept charitable gifts.”
(Bukhari Book 34, Chapter 102: Muslim book Al-Iman, Chapter 69)
4) The Prophet is nearest to Jesus.
Narrated by: - Hazrat Abu Huraiar.
The Prophet said, “I am the nearest of all the people to the son of Mary, and all the prophets are paternal brothers, and there has been no prophet between me and the Jesus.”
(Bukhari Book 60, Chapter 48: Muslim book Sifat Al-Fazail, Chapter 40)

-:Friends of Allah:-
1) First Group of People to enter Paradise.
Narrated by: - Hazrat Abu Huraiar.
Allah’s Messenger said, “The first group of people who will enter Paradise, will be glittering like the moon on a full moon night.”
(Bukhari Book 60, Chapter 1: Muslim book Al-Iman, Chapter 6)
2) Whom Allah Loves, People also love.
Narrated by: - Hazrat Abu Huraiar.
The Prophet said, “If Allah loves a person, He calls Gabriel, saying,' Allah loves so and so O Gabriel, love him. So Gabriel would love him and then would make an announcement in the Heavens:’ Allah has loved so and so therefore you should love him also.’ So all the dwellers of the Heavens would love him , and then the would be granted pleasure of the people on the earth .”
(Bukhari Book 97, Chapter 33: Muslim book Al-Bir, Chapter 49)
3) Pledge to obey Allah and to be good to others.
Narrated by: - Hazrat Jarir bin Abdullah.
I gave the Baia (Pledge) to the prophet that I would listen to the Commands of Allah and obey and he told me to add :’As I can , and will be good to every Muslim.’
(Bukhari Book 93, Chapter 43: Muslim book Al-Iman, Chapter 21)
4) Those who will enter Paradise without Accountability.
Narrated by: - Hazrat Ibn Abbas.
The Prophet said, “Some nations were displayed before me. I was told that there are 70,000 among my followers who will enter Paradise without accountability. These are the people who put their trust only in their Lord.”
(Bukhari Book 76, Chapter 42: Muslim book Al-Iman, Chapter 92)
5) Severs Punishment : To Pledge for Worldly Benefits and to take False Oath.
Allah’s Messenger said, “ There are three persons whom Allah will not look at on the Day of Resurrection ,nor will He purify them and there will be severe punishment for them. They are:
1. A man who possessed extra water on a way and he withheld it from travelers.
2. A man who gave a Baia (pledge) to a religious leader only for worldly gains.
3. A man who displayed his goods for sale and lied saying, ‘By Allah, I paid so much for these goods’, and somebody believed him (and bought them).”The Prophet then recited Verse77 of Al-Isra.

-:Creation of Man:-
1) Man is born according to the Divine Laws of Nature.
Narrated by: - Hazrat Hudhaifa.
Allah’s Messenger said, “Al-Amanah (The Trust and Faith) was preserved in the roots of the hearts of men (In the beginning) and then they learnt it from the Quran and Sunna.”
(Bukhari Book 81, Chapter 35: Muslim book Al-Iman, Chapter 62)
2) The knowledge of Ruh (soul) is with Allah.
Narrated by: - Hazrat Abdullah bin Masud.
The prophet was asked by someone, “What is “Ruh”? The prophet remained quite. I thought that he was being inspired Divinely so I stayed till that state of the Prophet was over. The Prophet then recited Verse 85 of Al-Isra: “They ask you about the “Ruh” .Say: The “Ruh”, its knowledge is with my Lord. You (mankind) have been given but a little knowledge.”
(Bukhari Book 3, Chapter 47: Muslim book Al-Munafiqin, Chapter 4)
3) Every child is born with True Faith.
Narrated by: - Hazrat Abu Huraira.
The Prophet said, “Every child is born with true faith but his parents convert him to Judaism , Christianity or Magianism.” Then Abu Huraira recited the Holy Verse 30 of Al-Rum, “Allah has created mankind with nature according to the true faith (of Islamic concept). Let there be no change afterwards. That is the straight religion but most of men don’t know.”
(Bukhari Book 23, Chapter 8: Muslim book Al-Qadar, Chapter 6)

-:Fate:-
1) Fate is written before birth.
a) Narrated by :- Hazrat Imran bin Hussain.
The Prophet said, “Everyone will do the deeds which he has been created to do.” (Allah’s knowledge is unlimited. Allah knows how a person will use his freedom of action.).
(Bukhari Book 82, Chapter 2: Muslim book Al-Qadar, Chapter 1)
b) Narrated by :- Hazrat Ali.
The Prophet said, “There is none among you whose place in Paradise or Hell is not written. As such it is already determined whether he will be among the blessed or the wretched.”
A man said, “O Allah’s Messenger! Should we not depend on what has been written for us and leave the deeds?” The Prophet said, “The good deeds are made easy for the blessed.” Then he recited Verse 5-6 of Al Lail: “As for him who gives (in Charity and keeps his duty to Allah and fears Him, Allah will make it easy for him……”
(Bukhari Book 23,Chapter 83:Muslim book Al-Qadar, Chapter 1)
c) Narrated by :- Hazrat Sahl bin Sad.
The Prophet said, “A man may seem to the people as if he was practicing the deeds of the people of Paradise while in fact he is from the people of the (Hell) Fire, another may seem to the people as if he was practicing the deeds of the people of (Hell) fire, while in fact he is from the people of Paradise.”
(Bukhari Book 56,Chapter 77:Muslim book Al-Qadar, Chapter 1)
2) Deeds of the offspring of Pagans.
a) Narrated by :- Hazrat Ibn Abbas.
Allah’s Messenger was asked about the children of Al-Mushrakin viz Pagans (who die in childhood). The Prophet replied, “Since Allah created them, He knows what sort of deeds they would have done.”
(Bukhari Book 23,Chapter 93:Muslim book Al-Qadar, Chapter 6)
b) Narrated by :- Hazrat Abu Huraira.
The prophet was asked about the offspring of pagans (Mushrakin); so he said, “Allah knows what sort of deeds they would have done (if they had survived).”
(Bukhari Book 23 ,Chapter 93:Muslim book Al-Qadar, Chapter 6)
2) Fate of a human being is written in the womb of the mother.
Narrated by: - Hazrat Abdullah bin Masud.
The prophet said, “The creation of a human being in the womb of the mother takes place like this: after 40 days it becomes and remains a clot of thick blood for a similar period, and then a piece of flesh for s similar period. Then Allah sends an angel who is ordered to write four things. He is ordered to write down his deeds, His livelihood (sustenance), his (date of) death and whether he will be blessed or wretched. Then the soul is breathed into him. So, a mans amongst you may do (good) deeds till there is only a cubit between him and Paradise and then what is written for him decides his behavior and he starts doing (evil) deeds characteristic of the people of the (Hell) Fire. And similarly a man amongst you may do (evil) deeds till there is only c cubit between him and (Hell) Fire, and then what has been written for him decides his behavior, and he starts doing deeds characteristic of the people of Paradise.”

-:Death:-
1) After death, the destination in Paradise or Hell is shown daily.
Narrated by: - Hazrat Abdullah bin Umar.
The Prophet said, “When anyone of you dies, he shown his place both in the morning and in the evening. If he is one of the people of Paradise he is shown his place in it, and if he is from people of the hell-Fire; he is shown his place therein. Then it is said to him, ‘This is your place till Allah resurrect you on the Day of Resurrection’
(Bukhari Book 23, Chapter 90: Muslim book Al-Janah, Chapter 17)
2) Resurrection after death – Revelation.
Narrated by: - Hazrat Khabbab.
Narrated Khabbab : Asibin Wail owed me some money, so I went to him to demand it. He said, ‘I will not pay you unless you disbelieve Muhammad.’ I said, ‘I will not disbelieve till Allah kills you and then you get resurrected. ’He said, ‘Leave me till I die and am resurrected, then I will be given wealth and children and I will pay you your debt’.” On that occasion Verses 77-78 of Mariam were revealed to the Prophet “Have you seen him who disbelieved in Our Al-Ayat (Holy Verses) yet says: ‘I shall certainly be given wealth and children ’. Has he known the unseen or has the taken a covenant from the Beneficent (Allah)?”
(Bukhari Book 34, Chapter 29: Muslim book Al-Munafiqin, Chapter4)
3) In the grave, angels come and interrogate.
Narrated by :- Hazrat Anas bin Malik.
The Prophet said, “When (Allah’s) slave is put in his grave and his companions return and he even heats their footsteps, two angels come to him and make him sit and ask , ‘What did you use to say about this man (Muhammad)?’ The faithful believer will say, ‘I testify that he is Allah’s slave and His Messenger’. Then they will say to him, ‘Look at your place in the Hell-Fire, Allah has changed it and you have a place in Paradise instead of it.’ So he will see both his places.
(Bukhari Book 23,Chapter 87:Muslim book Al-Janah, Chapter 17)

-:Grave:-
1) Agony in grave is severe.
a) Narrated by :- Hazrat Aisha.
The Prophet said, “May Allah give you refuge from the Punishment of the grave.” He ordered the people to seek refuge with Allah from the punishment of the grave.
(Bukhari Book 16,Chapter 7:Muslim book Ka Sauf, Chapter 2)
b) Narrated by :- Hazrat Abu Ayub.
Once the Prophet went out after sunset and heard a (dreadful) voice, and said,“The Jews are being punished in their graves.”
(Bukhari Book 23,Chapter 88:Muslim book Al-Janah, Chapter 17)
2) Punishment for uncleanliness and backbiting.
Narrated by :- Hazrat Ibn Abbas
The Prophet once passed by two graves and said, “These two persons are being tortured not for a major sin. One of them never saved himself from being soiled with his urine, while the other used to go about with calumnies (to make enmity between friends).” The Prophet then took a green leafless branch of a date palm tree, split it into (two pieces) and fixed one of each grave. The Prophet said, “I hope that their punishment might be lessened till these (branches) become dry.” (It is in Verse 6 of Surah Al-Rahman: “And the herbs and the trees bow (before Allah) in adoration.”

-:Here After:-
1)On the Day of Judgment, seven persons will be under the shade of Allah.
Narrated by :- Hazrat Abu Huraira.
The Prophet said, “Allah will give shade, to seven, on the Day when there will be no shade but His:
1. A just ruler.
2. A youth who has been brought up in the worship of Allah.
3. A man whose heart is attached to the mosque.
4. Two persons who love each other only for Allah’s sake and they meet and part in Allah’s cause only.
5. A man who refuses the call of a charming woman of status for illicit relations with her and says: ‘I am afraid of Allah’.
6. A man who gives charitable gifts so secretly that his left hand does not know what his right hand has given.
7. A person who remembers Allah in seclusion and tears flow from his eyes.
(Bukhari Book 10,Chapter 36:Muslim book Al-Zakat, Chapter 78)
2) To see the Lord, Paradise.
Narrated by :- Hazrat Abi Musa.
The Prophet said, “There are two gardens, the utensils and contents of which are of silver, and two other gardens, the utensils and contents of which are of gold. And nothing will prevent the people who will be in the Eden Paradise from seeing their Lord except the curtain of majesty over His Face.”
(Bukhari Book 59,Chapter 7:Muslim book Al-Iman, Chapter 78)

The Month Of Ramadan
1) The Superiority of the Month of Ramadan.
Narrated by : - Hazarat Abu Huraira ( R.A)
The Prophet ( P.B.U.H) said ,"When the month of Ramadan starts, the gates of the Heaven ( i.e. Paradise) are opened and the gates of the hell are closed and the devils are chained."
( Bukhari Book 30, Chapter Al-saun: Muslim book Al-Siam, chapter 1)
2) If the moon is not sighted, complete thirty days of Shaban.
Narrated by : - Hazarat Abu Huraira ( R.A)
The Prophet ( P.B.U.H) said ,"If the sky is overcast, start fasting after completing thirty days of Shaban."
( Bukhari Book 30, Chapter 11: Muslim book Al-Siam, chapter 2)
3) If the moon is not sighted, complete thirty days of Ramadan.
Narrated by : - Hazarat Abdullah bin Umar ( R.A)
The Prophet ( P.B.U.H) said, " Do not fast unless you see the crescent (of Ramadan), and do not give up fasting till you see the crescent ( of Shawal), but if the sky is overcast, then completer 30 days ( of Ramadan)."

4) Don't fast for a day or two ahead of Ramadan.
Narrated by : - Hazarat Abu Huraira ( R.A)
The Prophet ( P.B.U.H) said, " None of you should fast a day or two before the month of Ramdan, unless he has the habit of fasting on these days, then he can fast."
( Bukhari Book 30, Chapter 14: Muslim book Al-Siam, chapter 3)
5) The timing of Fast begins with the Dawn.
Narrated by : - Hazarat Adi bin Hatim ( R.A)
When the Verse 187 of Surat Baqara was revealed about the begining of fast" Until the while thread appears to you, distinct from the black thread, " the Prophet ( P.B.U.H) explained, "That verse means the darkness of night and whiteness of dawn."

6) The superiority of Fasting; Reward; To protect one's tongue.
Narrated by : - Hazarat Abu Huraira ( R.A)
The Prophet ( P.B.U.H) said," By Him in Whose Hands my soul is, the smell coming from the mouth of a fasting person is better in sight of ALLAH than the smell of a musk. Allah says,'He has left his food, drink and desires for My sake. The fast is for me and I will give reward for it and the reward of good deeds is ten times'."The Prophet ( P.B.U.H) said, "Fasting is a shield and the personobserving fast should not behave foolishly and impudently, and if somebody fights with him or abuses him he should tell him, ' I am fasting'."
( Bukhari Book 30, Chapter 2: Muslim book Al-Siam, chapter 29)
The Prophet ( P.B.U.H) said," A person who is fasting should not use abusive language or shout or quarrel." He added, "There are two pleasures for the fasting person, one at the time of breaking his fast, and the other at the time when he will meet his Lord; then He will be pleased because of his fasting."
( Bukhari Book 30, Chapter 9: Muslim book Al-Siam, chapter 30)
7) The superiority in exerting more in prayers during the last ten days of Ramadan.
Narrated by : - Hazarat Aisha ( R.A)
With the start of the last ten days of Ramadan, the Prophet ( P.B.U.H) used to pray all night, and used to keep his family awake for the prayers.
( Bukhari Book 32, Chapter 5: Muslim book Al-Itikaf, chapter 3)
8) The superiority of fasting during Jihad.
Narrated by : - Hazarat Abu said (R.A)
The Prophet ( P.B.U.H) said," Whosoever fasts for one day during jihad ( i.e. holy war) for Allah's cause, Allah will make his face away from the (hell) fire for( a distance covered by a journey of ) seventy years."
( Bukhari Book 56, Chapter 36: Muslim book Al-Siam, chapter 31)
9) Eating or drinking in forgetfulness does not break the fast.
Narrated by : - Hazarat Abu Huraira ( R.A)
The Prophet ( P.B.U.H) said,"If somebody eat or drink in forgetfully then he should complete his fast, for what he has eaten or drunk has been given to him by Allah."
( Bukhari Book 30, Chapter 26: Muslim book Al-Siam, chapter 33)
10) Matrimonial relations during Ramdan - Bath.
Narrated by : - Hazarat Aisha ( R.A)
The Prophet ( P.B.U.H) used to kiss and embrace ( his wives) while he was fasting, and he had more power to control his desires than any.
( Bukhari Book 30, Chapter 23: Muslim book Al-Siam, chapter 12)

The Prophet ( P.B.U.H) after matrimonial relations with one of his wives, used to get up early in the morning to take a bath and fast.
( Bukhari Book 30, Chapter 22: Muslim book Al-Siam, chapter 13)
Narrated by : - Hazarat Abu Huraira ( R.A)
The Prophet ( P.B.U.H) said ,"If somebody has matrimonial relations with his wife (while fasting), then he should make free a slave, or fast for two successive months or feed sixty poor persons if it possible for him to do so."
( Bukhari Book 30, Chapter 31: Muslim book Al-Siam, chapter 14)
11) A traveller may or may not Fast.
Narrated by : - Hazarat Jabir bin Abdullah ( R.A)
The Prophet ( P.B.U.H) was on a journey and saw a crowd of people, and a man was being shaded by them. He asked ,"What is the matter?" They said , "He is fasting." The Prophet ( P.B.U.H) said ,"It is not righteousness that you fast on a journey."
( Bukhari Book 30, Chapter 36: Muslim book Al-Siam, chapter 15)
Narrated by : - Hazarat Anas ibn Abbas (R.A)
We used to travel with the Prophet ( P.B.U.H) and neither did the fasting person criticize those who were not fasting, nor did those who were not fasting criticize the fasting ones.
( Bukhari Book 30, Chapter 34: Muslim book Al-Siam, chapter 15)
Narrated by : - Hazarat Anas ( R.A)
We were with the Prophet ( P.B.U.H) on a journey and the only shade one could have was the shade made by one's own garment. Those who fasted did not do any work and those who did not fast serve the camels and brought the water on then and treated the sick and did other jobs. So, the Prophet ( P.B.U.H) said ,"Today, those who were not fasting took all the reward."
( Bukhari Book 56, Chapter 70: Muslim book Al-Siam, chapter 16)
12) The Verse about Fidya in place of fast was cancelled.

When the divine Revelation:"For those who can fast with difficutu, they have a choice either to fast or to feed a poor person for everyday." (2: 184)
was revealed, it was permissible for one to give a ransom and give up fasting (for a minor reason), till the Verse succeeding it (2: 184), was revealed and abrogated it.

Suhar and Iftar
1) Adhan for the Suhar.
Narrated by : - Hazarat Abdullah bin Masud (R.A)
The Prophet ( P.B.U.H) said , " Bilal pronounces the Adhan so that the one offering the late noght prayer (tahajjud) might hurry up and the one sleeping from among you might wake up."

2) Blessing in taking the Suhar.
Narrated by : - Hazarat Anas bin Malik ( R.A)
The Prophet ( P.B.U.H) said ," Take Suhar as there is a blessing in it."
( Bukhari Book 30, Chapter 10: Muslim book Al-Siam, chapter 9)
3) Its better to take Suhar late.
Narrated by : - Hazarat Zaid Bin Thabit (r.a)
I took the Suhar with the Prophet ( P.B.U.H) and then stood up for the morning prayer. The interval between the suhar and the prayer was just sufficient to recite fifty to sixty Verses ( of the Quran).

4) The time for Iftar.
Narrated by : - Hazarat Umar (r.a)
The Prophet ( P.B.U.H) said ,"When the sun sets, Then the fasting person should Iftar (Break his fast)."

5) It is Better to Iftar early.
Narrated by : - Hazarat Ibn Abi Anfa (r.a)
The Prophet ( P.B.U.H) pointed with his hand (towards the east) and said ," When you see the night falling from that side, then a fasting person should Iftar (Break his fast)."

Missed Days Of Fasting
1) Fasting in lieu of missed days of Ramadan.
Narrated by : - Hazarat Aisha (r.a)
Sometimes I missed some days of Ramadan, but could not fast in lieu of them except in the month of Shaban.
( Bukhari Book 30, Chapter 40: Muslim book Al-Siam, chapter 26)
2) Fasting in lieu of the missed fasts on behalf of a dead person.
Narrated by : - Hazarat Aisha (r.a)
The Prophet ( P.B.U.H) said ,"Whoever died and he ought to have fasted (those of missed days of Ramadan ) then his guardians must fast on his behalf."
( Bukhari Book 30, Chapter 42: Muslim book Al-Siam, chapter 27)
Itikaf
1) The Superiority f Itikaf in the last ten days of Ramadan.
Narrated by : - Hazarat Abu Said Al-Khudri (r.a)
The Prophet ( P.B.U.H) addressed the people and said ,"It has been revealed to me to practise Itikaf for the last ten days of Ramadan and I have been shown the night of Qadr but I have forgotten it. So search for it in the odd nights of the last ten days (of the month).
( Bukhari Book 32, Chapter 3: Muslim book Al-Siam, chapter 40)
2) Start Itikaf after the morning prayer.
Narrated by : - Hazarat Aisha (r.a)
The Prophet ( P.B.U.H) used to practise Itikaf in the last ten days of Ramadan and I used to pitch a tent for him, and after offering the morning prayer, he used to enter the tent. Once Hazarat Hafsa (r.a) and Hazarat Zainab (r.a) also pitched tents. In the morning the Prophet ( P.B.U.H) noticed the tents and said ."What is this? Do you think the righteousness is only by doing this?" He therefore abandoned the Itikaf in that month and practised Itikaf for ten days in the month of Shawwal.

Tarawih
1) The superiority of Tarawih prayer.
Narrated by : - Hazarat Abu Huraira (r.a)
The Prophet ( P.B.U.H) said ,"Whoever establishes (Tarawih) prayers during the nights of Ramadan out of sincere faith and hoping to attain Allah's reward , all his past sins will be forgiven."
( Bukhari Book 2, Chapter 27: Muslim book Salat-al-Musafarian, chapter 25)
2) The Tarawih prayer is not compulsory

Once at night Allah's Messenger ( P.B.U.H) went and offered ( tarawih) prayer in the mosque and some men prayed with him. When the came to know about it the number of people increased greatly. On the fourth night the was overwhelmed by the people till it could not accommodate them. That night the Prophet ( P.B.U.H) did not turn up and came out only in the morning for the Fajr prayer and when he finished the prayer, he faced the people and recited "Tush-hud" and then said ,"Amma badu. Verily your presence (in the mosque at night ) was not hidden from me, but I was afraid that prayer (of tarawih) might be made compulsory and you might not be able to carry it out."

The Night Of Qadr
1) The night of Qadr.
Narrated by : - Hazarat Ibn Umar ( r.a)
Some men amongst the companions of the Prophet ( P.B.U.H) were shown in their dreams that the Night of Qadr was in the last seven nights of Ramadan. The Prophet ( P.B.U.H) said ,"Whoever wants to search for it should search in the last seven nights of Ramadan."

-:Zakat:-
1) Property on which Zakat is due.
Narrated by :- Hazarat Abu Said ( r.a )
The Prophet ( P.B.U.H) said "No Zakat is due on property amounting to less than five Uqiyas (640 grams) of silver or less than five camels, or less than five Wasq ( of dates or barley grain - a Wasq equals 60 Sas or 180 kgms.approx.)."

Narrated by :- Hazarat Abu Huraira ( r.a )
The Prophet ( P.B.U.H) said , "There is no Zakat either on a horse or a slave belonging to a Muslim."

2) Punishment for not paying Zakat.
Narrated by :- Hazarat Abu Dhar ( r.a )
The Prophet ( P.B.U.H) said ,"They are the loser, by the Lord of the Kaba, who are wealthy except those who spend in Allah's Cause."

The Prophet ( P.B.U.H) said ," by Allah in Whose Hands my life is ,whoever had camels or cows or sheep and did not pay their Zakat, those animals will be brought on the Day of Resurrection far bigger and fatter than before and they will trample him under their hooves, and will butt him with their horns, and when the last does its turn the first will start again and this punishment will go on till Allah has finished the judgement amongst the people."
